Copeland to Showcase Latest Low-GWP Innovations and Solutions at AHR Expo Mexico 2025
The company will highlight its advanced HVACR technologies, including low-GWP refrigerants, web-based monitoring and innovative cooling solutions
MONTERREY (Sept. 11, 2025) – Copeland, a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, will participate in AHR Expo Mexico 2025, the leading HVACR industry event in the country, taking place at Cintermex, Monterrey, from Sept. 23-25. The company will showcase its latest innovations and solutions, with a strong focus on low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants and oil-free centrifugal compressor solutions.
The HVACR industry in Mexico is estimated to reach approximately $4.27 billion USD by 2025, with an average annual growth rate of around 7%, according to industry analyst Mordor Intelligence. Copeland’s presence at AHR Expo Mexico 2025 will demonstrate how its focus on innovation delivers solutions to address the industry’s most pressing challenges, including reducing carbon emissions through the energy transition, protecting critical products across the cold chain and transitioning to natural and low-GWP refrigerants. Key innovations on display include:
- Copeland scroll compressors: Optimized for use with natural and low-GWP refrigerants, including R-290, A2Ls and CO₂, in low-, medium- and high-temperature refrigeration, heating and air conditioning applications.
- Copeland EVM variable frequency drives: High-efficiency frequency drives designed for commercial environments, offering outstanding flexibility across a wide range of temperature conditions.
- E3 supervisory E3 supervisor control: Offers an intuitive, web-based interface for monitoring critical building and refrigeration systems, including compressor units, condensers and walk-in units, HVAC systems and lighting, while providing end users with a direct drop-in replacement for the E2.
- Copeland oil-free centrifugal compressor with Aero-lift™ bearing technology: A frictionless compression system that eliminates the need for lubricating oil, delivering efficient, robust and reliable performance in both air- and water-cooled chiller applications.
Copeland will also host several educational sessions during AHR Expo Mexico, providing attendees with valuable insights into its applications, case studies, technologies and innovations:
Panorama 360 Forum
On Sept. 24, Copeland will host the Panorama 360 Forum, bringing together industry experts to showcase the transformative benefits of Copeland solutions.
- Miguel Escamilla, business development manager at Chemours, will discuss the adoption of A2L refrigerants and their role in promoting low-impact solutions.
- Pedro Machain, applications engineer at Ecochillers, will present on advancements in centrifugal compressors for the industry.
- José Benavides, cold chain manager at OXXO, and Abraham Garza, manager of sustainability and corporate social responsibility at FEMSA, will explore the use of A2L refrigerants in retail environments.
- José Martínez, associate director of infrastructure & sustainability at Walmart, will provide insight into the implementation of smart monitoring systems, highlighting technological innovation in HVACR.
